I like studying natural sciences, such as physics, mathematics. Among many subjects, mathematical and intuitively understandable topics are favorite. So, I am supposed to study in America where many talented students & faculties work in those kind of fields by applying this year.
However, it's not easy at all to be admitted in famous universities. So many things should I do and accomplish. Here are some of them.
1. High GPA (> 4.0 in 4.3 scale)
2. Some reserach experiences and results from those.
3. Enlish proficiency, iBT TOEFL > 100, GRE verbal > 600
4. At least 3 references from the researchers in the field which I'm interested in.
These are the minimum. To succeed in these criteria, I should give up other things, especially hanging around with friends. Especially, I cannot afford my time playing with my wife, F2, enough. I'm very sorry about that. If I succeed in the field I'm studying, my wife deserves to own about 75.6% of that success. :)
I hope that I can post about the admission from the famous universities in February next year.

Good luck for both of us! Your criteria are too strict... I do not satisfy most of those criteria :(
Your English seems to be very fluent, but you don't use passive expression when it is needed :D
I also have a lot of problems using passive form... maybe we can check each other's gramattical errors!
Here's my gift. It might be not a present, but a sort of load... ;)
All my friends who're studying abroad say so: GRE is not important, and TOEFL is a little important because you need to qualify minimum level :D
I'm not aiming high for GRE exam. I'll be satisfied for scores like 500/780/4.0 ... However, I've no experience of taking the real exam so I don't know how difficult it is to get such score.
